Following game options are available for both single-player and multiplayer games. When joiningh a multiplayer game, please thoroughly review the selected game options, as these settings may substantially affect the gameplay.

Following parameters are available:

  • Game Name. This editable field defaults to the selected map designation. When establishing a new game session, it is recommended to assign a distinctive identifier to facilitate easier recognition within the active games roster.
  • Start Credit. This value determines the initial gold allocation available to each participant for purchasing starting units or constructing base facilities when utilizing complex planning mode.
  • Resource Deposits. This setting configures the distribution density of mineral deposits across the map.
  • Amount of Material. This parameter specifies the quantity of material resources contained within each Material-type mineral deposit.
  • Amount of Fuel. This parameter specifies the quantity of fuel resources contained within each Fuel-type mineral deposit.
  • Amount of Gold. This parameter specifies the quantity of gold resources contained within each Gold-type mineral deposit.
  • Unit Fuel Consumption. When enabled, this mechanic applies to all units except Engineers, Constructors, Infantry, and Infiltrators. Units will consume fuel during movement operations and become immobilized upon fuel depletion. Aircraft units consume one fuel unit per turn, and insufficient fuel reserves will result in aircraft loss at the commencement of the subsequent turn. Refueling operations must be conducted via Fuel Tanks, Hangars, Depots, Docks, Fuel Ships, Fuel Trucks, or Air Tankers.
  • Instant Laying. This option modifies Engineer capabilities, enabling continuous placement of Roads and Connectors during movement operations, similar to mine deployment mechanics. Note that Connectors and Roads will be relocated from the Build menu to a dedicated Laying menu interface.
  • Expensive Service. When activated, unit maintenance operations (Refuel, Repair, Rearm, Upgrade) incur costs exceeding one mineral unit. Service costs are dynamically calculated based on factors including sustained damage, remaining fuel reserves, and other operational parameters.
  • Restrict Transports. This restriction stipulates that combat units (excluding Scouts and Infiltrators) lose shots while aboard transport vessels. Combat functionality is restored on the next turn after disembarking from the transport.
  • Complex Planning. This advanced deployment option permits the purchase and strategic placement of both structures and units during the initial landing phase, superseding the standard starting unit allocation system.
  • Start with Armed Units. This option authorizes the acquisition of combat units during the initial landing phase.
  • Start with Survey.
    • Minimal - Mineral deposits within the vicinity of the initial landing zone are revealed.
    • Full - All mineral deposits across the entire map are revealed at mission commencement.
  • Start with Radar. A Stationary Radar installation is incorporated into the initial base configuration.
  • Start with Base. The initial deployment includes a Mining Station and Power Generator as foundational base infrastructure.
